There seems to be no new metal Jerry Cans here in Canada, only the red ones. In the plastic variety there are 20L yellow ones, but they are not in the same shape as the metal cans that I think you are referring to. The metal cans in Germany are cheap - usually green, but can be painted yellow for your Diesel.

Dear List,

Anyone know where I can purchase those 5-gallon (20 litre) yellow "Jerry Cans" for my Vanagon/TDI conversion? I don't want red. I've tried some boat suppliers but they seem to only have have the round kind -- I'd prefer the "classic" boxy, WWII kind.

Cheers, Michael J. Sullivan http://www.haywood-sullivan.com/vanagon/TDI
