One's married, 2 grandkids LOCATION: Delta, CO JOB: Jack of all trades- mostly computers/networking. Do a little consulting but mostly farming (Kathleen said it's her turn to support me...) HOBBIES: Trying to grow grass (lawn) in adobe soil; ditto for oats, grass and alfalfa on 11 acres; horses, goats, dogs, cats; drawing/sketching, reading, fly fishing, computers, networking... PREVIOUS VWs: 68 Squareback (wife's friend totaled it) 72 Squareback (traded for Volvo) 71 Squareback (engine burned up on interstate) CURRENT VWs: 86 Jetta GL (bought new 11/85) 280,000+ miles, going strong 84 Vanagon GL, 4 spd standard, 'Baby'. 180,000+ miles. Engine rebuilt by Grand Mesa Imports, Delta, CO. Seems to have more power than your average 1.9l; 22.5-25.5 mpg. TIME ON THE LIST: Oct. 2000
