Content-Type: multipart/alternative;

Hi List, I have two questions about the Vanagon with the pop-top, the bed and the funky little refrigerator but not the sink, refrigerator, stove unit that is in a full camper. It's an 86 with Wolfsburg decals. First, what is the correct name for this vehicle? (I know there have been many threads on this.) Secondly, why is there no "shelf" along the edge of the pop-top inside on the driver's side, like there is on a full camper? It's such a handy storage space. What would happen if that long piece of plastic or metal that the light is attached to was cut down into a sort of shelf? Would it be difficult, or tricky? It seems to be hollow. What's behind there, besides the wiring for the light? Hope everyone is camping their hearts out this summer! TIA, Vicki
