Then finish adjusting them as needed: Apply brakes to center the shoes. Spin wheel by hand to check for drag. Adjust to the point where there is just a slight drag, back off just a little if you wish. Apply brakes, check for drag again etc... ( Before you put the drums on memorize or write down which way to move the brake spoon to tighten or loosen on each side.) Larry A. |
