You know... forgive me, but every time the antenna thread comes up I ask this question: Doesn't anybody know a source for a one-piece steel (or comparable metal) flexible antenna that will mount on a vanagon? The OEM antennas are junk. I want one like I have on my Grand Cherokee... one piece, flexible... won't break going thru a car wash or four-wheeling through the trees and bushes. Sure, i suppose you could break it if you bent it flat against the hood, but the tip will touch the hood without any problem. It can be unscrewed at the base, but need not be removed under most circumstances.

This list has such a vast store of knowledge about everything under the sun... doesn't someone know what I'm talking about?
