We always have charcoal, starting fluid and a cheap little backpacker's fold-up grill under the back seat. Standard spices include Montreal Steak Seasoning, garlic salt, pepper, chili powder and dried onions. We take frozen boneless chicken breasts in the ice chest. I spice them up and cut them into strips to cook quickly and evenly. And we make some RICE-a-RONI !! They say everything tastes better when camping, and it's so true of this San Francisco treat. Toast some onion rolls on the twindling coals and have a feast.
