Listers: Wandered over to the Sam's Club parking lot on highway 31 on Holland's North side. Lots of Bugs, Splitties and Bays. Some mint, others strictly donors. The usual flea market goodies- new and very used parts, trannies. BUT...only one Vanagon- a single cab owned by a Listmemer from Ohio, with cool shirts, gaskets and stuff. I had a wonderful time talking with lots of friendly, enthusiastic folk. I met a fellow with a Synchro project van at home, soon to be Subarau powered. He is a fount of Mexico travel tales, but is not online yet. The day was clear and dry-perfect. I may not be able to make this event next year, but hope some more Vanagoners will be present. George. Chillin' in Grand Rapids.
