I'd like to mount a VDO voltage gauge on top of the plastic pull-off cover over the instrument cluster on my '86 Westy. Haven't seen anybody else do this, perhaps there's a reason why. I realize the plastic if fairly thin, but with a little care, seems it should work fine. There is room underneath, and a couple of quick-disconnects should allow removal of the cover when necessary. Any help will be appreciated, thanks, Steve Gough Steve: Fritz' PO did exactly as you describe ... no problems here, after one year. -- Stephen Steele* Chillicothe OH '91 Caravelle "Hans" '84 Westfalia "Fritz" '81 Diesel Rabbit "Ol' Yeller" by PO '90 Jetta GL 16 yo Sons' "together" car '74 MGB "Terrance" My first car...yep, I've kept it since '74 '93 Chevy S-10 I hate it ... but sometimes I need a truck *all rights reserved/no portion of this document may be reproduced w/o prior written permission
