Subject: noise reduction sound deadening

Sorry for the redundant title but I thought it might help in archive searches. Found very cheap stick-on sound deadening sheets at parts express www.partsexpress.com (part-sex-press? but I digress) . . . PN 268-015 29" X 32" regularly $11.50 sale $9.95. This is way below dynamat and other "audiophile" stuff. Very heavy and does a great job. My doors shut with a "clunk" rather than a "whaaaaaaaaaaaam." Description as per parts express is " . . . it is made of mineral filled asphalt polymer that transforms vibrational energy into thermal energy (low level heat). The flexible nature of this dampening sheet enables it to mold and conform to irregular surfaces. They can be cut using a standard razor knife and are self adhesive . . . can handle continuous temperatures -30 - 350 F. Thickness .070"

Hope this helps. It sure helped me!
