Budd, I reality this just doesn't make any sense. I know what I read in your posting, and I realize the results of your test. However this whole idea defeats every common sense thought or theory of oil assisting in cooling an engine.

If all this be true, then what you are implicating is that an extra capacity oil sump, with added oil, in whatever vehicle, will actually add BTU's to the engine while it's running, rather than cool it?

This defies all rational, logical thought.
