My wife and I frequently camp along the Atlantic coast where the wind is constant, sometimes strong, sometimes not. Some of the times when we had most wished we had an awning have been in breezy conditions, including one stormy night on Cape Cod.

I have read Steve's and Phaedra's comments on the Shady Boy awning in the wind. I don't know if the Fiamma, A&E, or other roll out awnings would fare better or worse in gusting wind or stormy weather.

I am learning from this discussion, please keep the comments coming, especially experiences about how your awnings fare in storms or winds.

Thanks,

Tony
