Is the plug actually loose?  It can be in quite securely and still dribble
oil if the washer is bad or missing.  Give it a twist with your hand.  If
you can't move it, it should be all right to drive.  Just check the oil when
you get to your destination to ensure the leak isn't worse than what you
described.
