Hi all!

Please allow me to re-send this notice from a few weeks back as I have finally gotten pictures scanned and posted. If you would like to see the Vanagon that is for sale, go to http://photos.yahoo.com/grundigdesk then click on the "1990 Vanagon GL For Sale" icon.

Here's the ad: For Sale: 1990 GL, *Blue; *Factory A/C (w/ rear vents); *rear bed (with the rear cushion in good shape); *factory towing package; *nice Panasonic cassette stereo w/ removable face; *Michelin tires in good shape; *All the standards for a '90 GL including *the nice cloth seats with armrests (front), *power & heated side mirrors, *rear wiper/washer; *runs great, looks o.k.. *Has been a daily-driver and traveler for me with few complaints!

Problems: *A/C needs charging(?); *has some rust, some seam (came from California, but I guess has been in NY long enough for the rust to set in); *side door had a good dent in it and the cosmetic repair didn't hold well, *also, the paint on the side door is blue but seems to be off a bit from the rest of the van (not as glossy); *missing a piece of the lower body trim just behind the side door, other places have a few blemishes; *doesn't have the middle seat that came in a '90 (I know where one is for $250, and one for $175, though), but has one from an 84, also a 3-passenger w/tracks, both in good shape; *odometer and tripometer hasn't worked since I got it, I estimate the current mileage at about 125,000 (low for a Vanagon!)

Kelly Blue Book gives it a trade-in value of $2,525 in "fair" condition, I'm asking $2500 (I think it's worth it), but will consider best offer. I'm located in Upstate NY between Rochester and Syracuse. I will travel a little distance for the sale, farther if near Lynchburg, VA (and points in between) or Cincinnati, OH or Evansville, IN (again, and points in between).

Pictures can be seen at http://photos.yahoo.com/grundgidesk

Let me know if I can answer any questions, or if you have trouble viewing the pics.
