I have added one of the Hella 19" gooseneck lights to the above the kitchen unit in my 84 Westy. It is attached the bottom of an aluminum plate that extends horizontally and is bolted to the lip in the body that also supports the pop top support arm. This plate is located immediately aft of the pop top support arm. When the top is raised, the light can be swung upwards to provide light for the upper bunk. I plan to add another light to the passenger side in a similar manner.

Could you provide more details as to exactly where and how you mounted this light?

Thanks and best wishes,

Tony
