Simple procedure--Remove gas cap and then remove 3 small phillips head screws. Behind the sheet metal is the filler tube and a small plastic overflow tube. Remove this small tube from filler tube and then with tongue in proper position wiggle, push, pull and twist and filler tube will surrender. There is a rubber seal in upper side of tank that filler neck fits into. Not difficult.
