Subject: flashing oil light
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

Hello Everyone, Well, have I got one for ya.

I replaced the printed circuit (behind the instrument cluster) on my '87 Westy in order to get a working digital clock. I installed the new circuit and ... Voila, I had a working digital clock, but then I also noticed that my oil light would flash when starting my van and not go off. If I drive with the flashing light, a very loud buzzing noise goes off after about a minute. So, I put the old circuit back into the van and noticed that my oil light hadn't never actually worked with my old circuit. (Ignorance is bliss, I guess)The oil light didn't even go on when I would start up my van. All of the rest of the lights work, (ox, LED, battery). I have owned my van for over a year and have never had trouble with my oil. Do I just have a bad oil sensor? Where is it located and how would I go about testing it? Any other ideas or suggestion?

Thanks in advance for any help that you could offer. Jen Loerzel Karma Rose '87 Westy Chicago, IL _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com
