Subject: Frustrating NON START Solved
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hope you can benefit from my frustrating experience:

The van would cough but not start. -Checked that I had spark -Checked that I had fuel -Checked that the Idle Stabilizer valve buzzed -Checked with Darrell Boehler's Digitool that all electrical were correct

Found a broken wire at the coil, fixed it, but it STILL DID NOT START

-Checked the fuel pump (funny shouldn't it vibrate when it first pumps up?) -Recheck the fuel pressure (pressure but shouldn't it squirt in my eye?) -Check the plugs (seem ok but put in new ones anyway) - STILL NO START -Check all grounds, clean all contacts (I'm about to give up soon) -put my finger on the two fuel pump relays (hey, only one clicked)

INSTALL NEW FUEL PUMP RELAYS THE ENGINE STARTS AND RUNS LIKE A DREAM
