Well my Westfalia is approaching the GVW of 5300 Lbs but Its Stuff not Sh....! I'm still considering cutting a hole under the drives seat to install a CR Rom Disk Changer and a VCR in there but haven't ever heard whats under there on 80-83 Vanagons. If its empty and just hollow but sealed It looks like it might be a good secure location that I could lock.
