Alan, my understanding is that the factory alloys are the same width as the steel wheels. If this is correct either the Agilis or the Yokohamas should work okay. I've got the MXTs on my steel rims. The 185s will probably look goofy compared to the MXTs but goofy looking tires with tread are way better than ones without. I hate hearing that the MXTs are not available. Perhaps if I ask my question differently... My Wolfsburg came with factory alloy wheels. The tires on it presently are Michelin MXT 205/70R14. Can I use either the Michelin Agilis 185x14 or the Yokohama Y356 in 185x14 on the factory alloys? I understand the 185x14 is a taller, narrower tire, but can it be mounted on the alloys? Please. I need some help. Alan Bosch & Phred ('88 Wolfsburg) >> |
