might be a flat spot in the starter... had an old chevy van (no flames
please) that used to do that... when I tapped it with a hammer a couple of
times she'd start.  when I got tired of getting down on my back under that
van, I bought a new starter and she started up every time.  try tapping
it... may be your problem too.
