Leon,

Newly-acquired 84 Vanagon has leaking heads and a newly-rebulit transmission. I have a- "It was working when we removed it because of a blown transmission" -motor obtained from a NY Listee for $100 about two years ago. Westy hauled it 2,000 miles in my Coleman Versatrailer. Listee sent the transmission to be repaired and the repair shop closed, and the transmission "discopeered." The $500 CA van will be the transplant recipient of that motor, or the donor, if I ever need one, of a transmission, which ever opportunity comes first.
