I've had my '87 up to an indicated 103 mph once, I don't like to push it above 95 mph. It's mostly stock except for headers, intake and it's balanced. My '61 bus on the other hand has been up to 66 mph (apx. 4100 rpm), 1192cc 40hp stock except for Wasserboxer 2.1l 1.1:1 rocker assemblies and it's also balanced.
