Has anyone replaced faulty wires in their wiring harness? I found that the end-to-end resistance of one of the fual injector wires was 18 ohms. Of course it should be darn close to zero. I'm tempted to go to radio shack and buy a spool of the right gauge wire and replace some (all?) of the wires in the harness. Would this be asking for trouble? It seems to me that wire is wire is wire. If I solder all the connections, I would think it should wind up good as new. There are some damaged areas of the harness where is melted too..
