hi! a good friend of mine was showing some volks a brand new westy for sale at the dealer's...since it was almost empty and they wanted to test drive, he drove it to the gas station (with a low roof) in front of the garage, with the top up ??? it did cost a few thousands to change the top and the volks did not have the chance to try it... the day I decided to recuperate the old top to put on my Gl, they had thrown it away, eventhough it was still pretty good as a second. that's life when you wait too long! pierre |
