The data from the five sets of prototype springs has been coming in and I expect to finazlize any changes to the specs and place the production run order by the end of next week. I will get a price quote from the manufacturer shortly. Thus far, everyone has been very pleased with the spring rate and the overall performance of the springs. They provide increased stability and better cornering. For most owners, they will provide about 1/2" - 1" additional vehicle height/ground clearance...and thus suspension travel. the amount of additional height will depend on what springs you currently have installed. If you have 1985 springs, the height increase will be minimal, about 1/4". The only change I am considering at this point is lowering the rear spring height 1/4". One person requested taller springs, but I am not incliend to do that with the 2wd springs since most people use them exclusively on the highway. Anyway, I will post the price quote, etc. next week. The more sets ordered, the cheaper they are. Steve |
