Joel, Looks as though on your '88 you got caught just before VW decided to try to buy it's way back into the US market. I paid $20,990 for my full Westy, new, but no cruise. It now has 134,000 miles. And then there was the later msg from Jere Hawn who paid only $14,400 for his '90 GL. VW is once again trying to buy it's way back into the market by lopping off $5,000 from the Eurovan. I think I will wait until they lop off $10,000 and make it run on regular unleaded or better yet, a turbo-diesel.
