Subject: 88 Wolfsberg Distributor
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Me again. Posted the message about the van stalling intermittently two days ago. To repeat - it would just go out like a switch was turned - then wouldn't start for a couple of hours - then it would start and run fine until it died again. Anyway - finally got it into the shop (Dealer). They were able to reproduce the problem (thank God) and diagnosed it as a faulty Distributor, for which they want $450!!! plus an hour labor. That, in addition to a faulty passenger window switch brings my grand total for diagnosis, parts and labor to just under $1000.

My question is - can I get this distributor cheaper? can I put it in myself? (I've got tools and basic KnowHow, but have never done this before). Help!

Bassim
