Hi Everyone!

Ok... a little bit of a mystery here...  I am looking
for my moms 1978 Westy... she sold it in Cardiff by
the Sea, California around 1983.  It was cream color
with a white top.  The sides had a couple brown and
orange stripes.  It also had the louvered windows on
the sliding door and on the opposite side of the door.
 I am just curious as to where this westy ended up...
It has had many many happy miles on it, we took 3
trips across the states as well as from Germany up to
Norway and had it shipped back to the States...  I was
around 7 or 8 yrs old when we did those trips.... I
sure remember them fondly.

So if anyone has come across the name Birgit Thoresen
(my mom)  on any of the paperwork for their westy  let
me know!  I will have a scan of the van tomorrow.
Unfortunately I dont know the VIN#.  (gee that would
be too easy!)  We did have a name for the westy:
"Otto"
