First, thanks to all who responded to my pleas for help concerning tires
for Phred.  Going over the pros and cons of one size/brand over another
over yet another, I've decided to go for the Michelin Agilils 61, 185R14,
on the VW alloys.  They're not cheap -- lowest price I could get locally is
$135 a tire with all the fixin's.  Tirerack.com wants $92 each, but by the
time you throw in mounting, balancing, installation, disposal of the old
tires (a total of $20 per), and freight, there's no significant savings.
Again, many thanks to those who responded.

Second, I'm banging my head against a cinder-block wall over this whole
anti-Semitic thread thing.  Is it even remotely possible that the reference
to Zyklon-B and showers was nothing more than an extremely bizarre and
twisted coincidence?  That there were, in fact, two separate and distinct
meanings for the phraseology used?   And that they were not related, simply
misconstrued, edited, and patched together?  Political-types do this all
the time to sway opinion their way...  The original posts referencing said
were, I believe, a day, maybe two, apart.  And, please, don't misinterpret
what I've said.  I'm not sticking up for anyone here.  The notion of the
reference to the Final Solution is deplorable to me.  So, too, is the
notion of the hanging of an innocent man.  I'm just thinking differently
from what I've seen posted to this list....
