If it works on 110v then 1) the refrigerator itself works and 2) you could get an inverter to power it from 12v -- it only takes 85 watts. If you're going from plug-in to plug-in this would keep you going while on the road.

The 12v problem is either bad fuse, bad wiring, bad switch, or bad heating element.

The propane problem is bad flame -- dirty flue, dirty orifice, junk in the burner chamber, gas pressure too low (should be 11" water column).

Was me, I'd get an inverter for fallback and then spend whatever spare time I had chasing the other stuff.
