It is possible that there is too much freon in the system, thereby not allowing proper evaporation (in the evaporator...where else?) to occur. I'd put money on this one, seeing how the air was cool before, and now it is less so.

It is pretty apparent that there is not too *little* freon, due to the absence of bubbles.

There also may be too much oil in the system thereby displacing refrigerant.

You must really go by temperature and pressure tables for the a/c system that are published by the manufacturer. An a/c system is a fine balance between gas and liquid, pressure and temperature. Only by looking at temperature vs pressure can you properly diagnose what the trouble might be. All else is guesswork.
