Hi!

K mart started this many years ago and i think that wal mart followed. you can park for the night in any wal mart parking as long as the city or municipality permits it...

on a recent three week trip from florida ( tho south florida towns do not permit), I did not have any problems finding a WM to quebec city. Myrtle beach does not permit, but there is a K mart, a few kilometers away, where there are no signs. I have "camped" most of the time, especially driving on Interstates, wal marts are practically always built at the intersection of large boulevards. easy access from the main highways. and mostly when they are open 24 hours, you can buy anything, anytime . If you buy their road atlas, you will know where they are situated...or on the net.

most of the money I would have spent for a site in a camping. I did spend in the store...you now know why they permit this?

pierre
