think that's bad?  when I worked in tv news, we had a guy who put his 16mm
camera on the roof, forgot it and drove away to see (in his rear view
mirror) lenses and camera parts bouncing on the road behind him as he drove
away.  And that one is minor compared to the guy (not me thank you very
much) who put his professional video camera down behind the car to put in in
the trunk, forgot it and promptly ran over it!  news director wasn't too
happy to say the least.
