Looks like a good day to express my *appreciation for this List, whose members have consistently offered support, suggestions, solutions, & yes, education.

I have *not found list vendors cloying--far from it. Both Ron & Ken, in particular, give as much as they get. I consider them an integral part of this online community.

I was saddened recently, however, at having our collective noses rubbed in the filth of alarming public exchanges by a few list members. This was the only time I gave serious thought to signing off. May it never happen again here.

Let's all remember to use p-mail when suited , & help keep the archives useful by giving an appropriate *subject line to posts. Also helps to change the subject line, as a thread goes on, so the subject line makes sense!

Without this list & the good will of it's members, I don't think I'd have the confidence to maintain my seventeen year old Westy & travel south of the border every winter. Thank you, all who've offered help & wisdom, & humor!
