They must have changed it.  Mine is more like that sound the Jim Carrey made
in Dumb and Dumber - "Wanna hear the most annoying sound in the world?
EEEAAAAAHAHAHAAAAHAHAHA!"  If mine were a "da da da," I might have let it
live.  : )

Yes, that would be a quick solution, but then the dome lights wouldn't come
on anymore, either.
