Does your new head gasket have tightening instructions with it? My FLAPS carries Elring head gaskets and they come with an instruction sheet. I am more inclined to use the head gasket manufacturer's instructions than the Bentley. Sorry I have no AAZ manual to look at.

I need the torque spec for a 1.9l Diesel engine that we are putting the head back on. It is a naturally aspirated, but I think the torque spec is the same as the TDI. I believe it is engine code AAZ. The head bolts are the torque-to-yield type. I need to know the torque spec and also how much of a turn to give it after it is torqued (quarter turn, half turn, etc.). Any help would be appreciated. I have the manuals for the 1.6l, but not the 1.9l.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give, Ken Wilford Van-Again John 3:16 http://www.vanagain.com Office: (856)-765-1583 Fax: (856)-327-2242
