Yikes! WD-40? WD-40 can rot the rubber. I used liquid soap and had no problem. I do agree that the installation tool saves the hair on the sides of ones head. Neal Date: Sat, 7 Jul 2001 06:18:05 -0500 From: Terry Kay <CTONLINE@WEBTV.NET> Subject: Re: Window Trim...

John, Negative on the window trim being installed, prior to the glass. The chrome bead spreads the rubber, and makes the installation of the glass all the more difficult. Why would one place a locker bead in the moulding prior to the installation of the windshield? It would make the job all the more of a task. With the moulding tool, and a little WD-40 the trim almost flies in place, and with the glasss installed, it makes the job all the easier.
