Hi Jonathan, Had the same problem. Was the Temp 2 sensor that intermittently went bad. A cheap item to replace. Until I fixed the problem with a new Temp 2 sensor, here is what I did to restart it hot: I pulled the coil wire at the distributor and leaned the end close to the block or any ground. Then I cranked the engine for a few seconds creating a spark at the end of the coil wire. Then I plugged the coil wire back in and started the van. It ran rough for a bit with a bad smell from the muffler, but it started and ran.
