My '81 Syncro Westy starts fine, runs fine--with one problem. If it has been up to normal temp, then sits for 20-60 minutes, it will start again fine, but then in 10-20 seconds (just as I'm trying to drive away) it will stumble and bog down. It will die, not idle. It will restart OK. If I drive "through" this bogged-down period (10-15 seconds or less), then suddenly, I can feel it break out and start to run perfectly. I'm thinking a sensor is failing, but not sure which one. Maybe a temp sensor, or maybe the O2 sensor not heating up fast enough? Any ideas? Richard A.
