While ago i bought whole new instrmnt cluster being great deal and dealt with speedometer in km buy buying white marker and writing major miles/hour figures next to those in km. It worked for me. Of course odometer was still reading in km but good tach and speedo shop could convert one to read miles.I doubt VW ever had a combo faceplate(maybe?)in Vanagon. Leon 85 Subwagen Westy
