Subject: Separating list server messages from less important email
Content-Type: multipart/alternative;

Hello All,

I just discovered that one can have incoming list server email messages separated from less important email and put into a different folder than the old inbox upon downloading. Most everyone probably already knows this, but thought I'd share in case there are others out there new to list servers like myself. This pertains to MS Outlook Express 5.0 (and maybe earlier versions): Under the Tools menu, go to Message Rules then Mail... click on new and under the heading 1. "Select conditions for your rule", click on the box "where the To line contains people", then in the heading 2. "Select actions for your rule", click on the box "move it to a specified folder", then in the heading 3. "Rule Definition", click on "contains people" and type in vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM, then click on "specified" folder and select or create a new folder that will then be used to contain only messages from the list. This way, while at work I can continue to receive and respond to work related emails every 10 minutes or so and can save the enjoyable Vanagon-related mail to be read en masse during lunch or after work.

Been wanting to give a little something to this great community that I have been taking from since becoming a new member a couple weeks back.
