...shortly.

My completely new cooling system (parts replaced from stem to stern) appears to be functioning correctly. I am able to leave the van idling for extended periods with the temp gauge needle locked midway between the LED and the high limit mark (this is a little warmer indication than before I did this project, but I replaced all sensors along with everything else, so it doesn't concern me.)

The radiator is new, as is the fan switch. The fan cycles on and off like clockwork. I am currently running straight water, as I wanted to make sure I had no leaks anywhere before I added coolant. Plus I have bypassed the heater cores, and I need to replace the long lengths of heater hose, so again there was no point in adding coolant to a system I was going to open up again.

Because I am also replacing my calipers, wheel cylinders, brake hoses and CV boots, the van isn't yet driveable, so for now it's "road test" is limited to idling in my driveway. But the cooling system replacement appears to be a success.

In addition to the above items, I am adding a power mirror to my passenger door (to replace a manual one the PO installed) and replacing my door panels with nicer ones.

Please p-mail me if anyone has comments, suggestions, criticism etc.

Dan
