While driving out I-84 on my way to Missoula, for a few brief miles there
was a caravan of *4* Vanagons driving through The Dalles, OR.  Any of
those folk on the list?  I was driving a blue GL, everybody had Westies.
And one of the Westies had a "GOLF III" (?) under the VANAGON logo on the
rear hatch.  It didn't look like a stock exhaust system...did that think
have a Golf enging?

Saw lots of Vanagons along the way.  Missoula is going to be a good new
home.
