Try 6/10 amp rating. Big enough to run a little roof fan or charge your battery. I've sold automatic gate operators that run on solar and a car battery and the panels I've seen over the past fifteen years are normally under 1 AMP and are used as trickle chargers. You can pick up a cheap amp gauge that you just hold next to the 12v source line and check the amps with the refer on.
