1.  I see a  lot of westies and plain vanagons and loafs on the Oregon coast...wave folks!!!!!!  We're in this together....

2.  It seems the cruise control causes lots of unwanted behaviour......
When going 60 or so and I slow down quickly the oil light would go on....not when I don't use cruise control.
Gas mileage is better 17-18 MPG vice 14-15 MPG when I don't use cruise control
When going uphill with the A/C on I had all the lights (oil, temp, etc) go on when cruise control is on...without cruise it seems to work fine and I actually
seem to
get better mileage with the A/C on at 55 mph than at 65 without A/C

Does this make sense to anyone?

3.  My wife claims I should have the radiator flushed and replace the antifreeze to get better cooling...does this really work with the westy ('91)?  Also does
turning the heat on actually help...it seems to cool the engine down.  Why isn't there a setting to turn on heat...but have it vent to the outside? <g>

4.  Finally, time for an oil change out in San Fran...can anyone let me know who would be good out here...thanks.
