I've seen a wedge-like accessory made for the 9" tv/vcr combos that straps on underneath the unit and angles it up for viewing by rear seat passengers. Kind of like a specialized sand bag, really. I believe it was made by Axxus (or Axius), the same people that make the windshield sun shades. I saw it at a Target store here in CA.

Haven't used it, but it might be an option.
