Our 1987 Syncro Westfalia just turned 100K during a trip to the woods last weekend. It's predecessor, a 1983 Westfalia had 130K on it, still running strong when sold to buy the Syncro in 1991. Before the '83 there was a 1971 Westy, on which I put 160K miles in addition to whatever was already there. I sold the '71 to a guy in Boulder for parts in 1985 when I could afford a nice one (the 1983 mentioned earlier). I STILL SEE the 1971 driving around Boulder on occassion... I'm amazed; It was pretty bad when I sold it, fifteen years ago!!
