i don't know what they're *supposed* to have. mine *has* a single piece of plywood oval-head screwed to the sheetmetal floor...the vinyl/crosshatched pattern is glued to the plywood. bolt holes are present in the sheetmetal floor, but are filled with those phillips-head black plastic "bolts" VW uses for unused seatbelt holes.
