Subject:      water faucet switch

... I unscrewed the top off my water faucet (brown job type with 3 positions - On Tank, Off, On Hookup, and pivoting head) and the little copper piece tumbled out.  I am unsure how it fits back in or whether it's shot and I need to replace the faucet.  Any insight is appreciated.
