Scott,

It's been a while since I've been in that area but if I remember correctly the hinge to the glove box is on the bottom (I think 2 Philips screws) but if your careful I just bend the catches in and the whole thing drop forward out of the way. As far as the two panels there are no screws, just work with it and they should pop off.

I hope someone else can confirm, as is said I haven't been in that area in a few years (since I had to remove the dash & heater to get a dead mouse out of the plenum chamber of the heater).

Hi List -

I am in the midst of installing some new speakers and I got to the part where I needed to remove the glove box (perfect place for an amp back in there, right?)...but I'm stuck! What is the best way to remove the box? All the screws seem to be very well hidden! Also, there are 2 other panels that I can't figure out how to remove: 1 below the radio, 1 is the automatic shifter housing box. Where are these screws located?

Thanks,

Scott K. 88 Westy
